Avocado Protein Powder Smoothie

We all at sometimes feels so much appetite for having more food which eventually puts us in a state where we start gaining unhealthy weight, you know why? Its because of protein deficiency in our body.

Some macronutrients in our body play a base role in weight and appetite management, and protein is one of them.

If you’re consuming less protein through your diet you have to think about it, but no worries when we have protein powders available as the best supplements when we arent able to consume enough protein through a natural diet.

I have some unique recipes for your next avocado smoothie with protein powder, but if you’re here and can’t afford to have protein powder, just replace the protein powder with 2-3 egg whites in the recipes I am going to tell you.

Recipe 1: Creamy Avocado Protein Powder Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 ripe avocado
  • 1 scoop of vanilla whey or vegan protein powder (or 2-3 egg whites if don’t have protein powder)
  • 1/2 cup of no-added artificial sugar almond milk (or any of your preferred milk)
  • 1 tablespoon of almond/peanut butter for creaminess
  • 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon of organic honey or organic maple syrup (optional)
  • Ice cubes for thicky texture and chilled water for more liquidic

Instructions:

  1. Cut the avocado in two equal half pieces, remove the pit using a pitter, and scoop the flesh out into your blender.
  2. Add the protein powder or egg whites in replacement, almond milk, almond/peanut butter, chia seeds, and honey as a sweetener (if using) into the blender.
  3. Blend until  a thickier creamier drink is formed, and add more ice cubes or butter for thicker.
  4. Transfer the blend into your smoothie tumbler and start having it with a sprinkled garnish of some chia seeds.

  • 1/2 cup of unsweetened oat milk (or the milk of your choice)
  • 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder for a more chocolaty taste (with no added sugar)
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut/almond butter (or almond butter)
  • 1 tablespoon of flaxseeds
  • Some ice cubes or chilled water (ice cubes for thicker experience)

Instructions:

  1. Slice the avocado into two equal halves, and scoop out the flesh into your blender.
  2. Place ingredients like avocado, chocolate protein powder, oat milk, cocoa powder, peanut butter, and flaxseeds into a blender.
  3. Start blending and blend until a homogenized colored drink is formed.
  4. Pour the drink into your smoothie glass and serve immediately,
  5. You can optionally garnish it with a sprinkle of cocoa powder or a few peanut butter swirls over it.
