- 1 cup coconut milk with no artificial added sugar (or you can use any plant-based milk)
- 1 tablespoon of almond butter or you can also use peanut butter in a replacement
- 1 tablespoon of chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon of organically collected honey, if you’re vegan you can use maple syrup (optional for only sweetness)
- Ice cubes or some chilled water for liquidity enhancement (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut the avocado into two halves, remove the internal part also known as pit, and scoop out the flesh into your blender.
- In your blender, combine all the ingredients; avocado, strawberries, spinach, coconut milk, almond butter, chia seeds, and honey/maple syrup (if using).
- Blend until you see a smooth drink is formed. Add ice cubes for a thicker, colder consistency or chilled water for more liquidity if desired.
- Transfer the drink into your smoothie mug or tumbler and enjoy sip by sip.
